Vote Democrat in 2011!
2008 was a great year for Democrats in Virginia! On Monday, December 15, 2008, your 13 Democratic Electors cast their votes for Barack Obama and Joe Biden—ending a 44-year Democratic electoral-drought in the Commonwealth.
But there's still a lot of work to be done. Continued and expanded Democratic leadership in the Virginia State Assembly is critical to our Commonwealth's health and success. This year, the Commonwealth will go to the polls on November 8, 2011 to shape the next Virginia House and Senate. Electing Democrats is vital, affecting everything from the future of our port and the future of our transportation infrastructure to the creation of jobs and the success of our economy.
