Virginia's Democratic Electoral College

DEEDS for VIRGINIA!

Barack Obama and Creigh Deeds.

2008 was a great year for Democrats in Virginia! On Monday, December 15, your 13 Democratic Electors cast their votes for Barack Obama and Joe Biden—ending a 44-year Democratic electoral-drought in the Commonwealth.

But there's still a lot of work to be done. Continued Democratic leadership in Virginia is critical to our Commonwealth's health and success. This year, the Commonwealth will choose a new Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General, and elections will be held for all House of Delegates seats.

Electing Democrats is vital, affecting everything from the future of our port and the future of our transportation infrastructure to the make-up of every local Electoral Board and the drawing of districts in the Commonwealth after our next national census.

Please take some time to learn more about Virginia's Democratic Candidates, and vote this November 3 to keep Virginia on the right track.
